About NTS, PTS & OTS recruitment
The National Testing Service (NTS), Punjab Testing Service (PTS), and Open Testing Service (OTS) are third-party testing bodies hired by government departments and public-sector organizations to conduct merit-based written tests for recruitment — commonly used for KPK, federal, and provincial department vacancies.
How this hiring process works
- A hiring department publishes a vacancy and contracts one of these testing services to run the exam; candidates register and pay a test fee through the relevant testing service's portal.
- Test format is usually MCQ-based, covering general knowledge, subject-specific content, and sometimes English/quantitative reasoning.
- Roll number slips and test centers are announced separately after registration closes — keep checking the testing service's website near your test date.
